4 Microphone Array System Software Download !!INSTALL!!


The em32setGain application provides a simple interface to control the Eigenmike microphone array hardware (PGA gain and calibration). This allows for the recording of calibrated microphone signals at optimum levels with 3rd party DAWs (Don't use em32setGain together with EigenStudio since the latter one provides its own hardware control). em32setGain is provided for convinience. The preferred way to set the PGA gain and calibration is through EigenStudio or EigenUnits

The purpose of this article is to provide a starting point to aid in the successful deployment of the TesiraFORTÉ DAN with Shure MXA310 and/or MXA910 microphone arrays. Specific understanding of the Shure MXA products is best gleaned from documentation and training provided by Shure. Links to these resources can be found later in this article.


When designing a system file in Tesira software, there are now custom MXA310 and MXA910 blocks located under the "SHURE Mic" option. This can be found in the "Microphones" segment under I/O Blocks within the Object Bar. Once selected, you'll be prompted to choose the desired Microphone Model and Channel Count. The channel or lobe count will need to match the number of lobes expected from the source microphone array. It has been observed that using four individual lobe outputs with Biamp per channel AEC processing performs better than the mixed output option. However, each room and system is unique, so please select the appropriate initialization state.


With firmware at or above 3.15, the network command string block has been improved to allow bi-directional communication. This allows for logical MXA LED control and synchronization across a system using many of these microphones.


The Processing Library is a little known tool within Tesira software that allows users to create catalogs of their favorite blocks. These catalogs can be exported and shared with other Tesira users. The following image shows the icon used to import the library that was just downloaded.


TOA has product specific software available for download. Please refer to the links on this page to obtain the applicable software for your product. All Sotfware can be downloaded off of TOA's Data Library.


Brüel & Kjær recommends that you always use the most current software available. New versions of the analyzer software, which you may want to install on your analyzer, are available for download via the BZ-5503 Measurement Partner Suite. Brüel & Kjær invites all their Type 2250, 2270 and 2250 Light users to upgrade their instrument software to the latest version completely free of charge.


Brüel & Kjær recommends that you install a software package using BZ-5503 MPS, as described in the "What to do?" section. However, if your BZ-5503 MPS is running on a PC without internet access, then you can download one of the software packages listed below to another PC, then copy the package to the PC with BZ-5503 MPS installed and then run the package for installation on the PC. Finally, connect your Type 2250 or 2270 to the PC and run BZ-5503 MPS to update the instrument with the software package.
