Accessing your anger
How comfortable are you with your anger?
Anger is a powerful emotion, often signaling important messages in the moment it arises.

As a wise zen teacher once likened it, anger is similar to a ringing telephone; it alerts us to something we need to hear. Ignoring it may lead to frustration and eventual outbursts, such as smashing the phone. Alternatively, embracing it allows us to listen and understand its message, just like picking up the call.

However, many of us struggle to acknowledge our anger due to societal judgments or past experiences of being criticised for expressing it. Often, it's not the anger itself that's condemned, but rather how we express it.

Unhealthy expressions of anger, such as aggression, victimhood, revenge, or silence, can lead to disconnection and chaos. Conversely, learning to express anger healthily, especially in the moment it arises, brings clarity, sets boundaries, and deepens our connections with ourselves and others.

To achieve this, cultivating a healthy relationship with anger is essential. This anger session aims to guide you in this journey within the contexts of your life, work, and relationships.

The session, conducted in person, spans 2.5 hours, facilitating a journey into your body and emotions with a focused exploration of anger. Through this exploration, we'll delve into your relationship with rage and how you typically express anger, as well as practice healthier ways of expression.
